Calamity Jane
Boisterous Western Musical

Lyrics by Paul Francis Webster, music by Sammy Fain.  In 1876, Calamity Jane dresses like a man, carries a gun and runs the stagecoach from Deadwood City, South Dakota. She and Bill Hickok delight in trying to out-do each other with tales of bravado, but she has lost her heart to Lieutenant Gilmartin. When Calamity promises to bring a Chicago star to sing in the saloon - but brings the wrong girl - her jealous rage gets her in trouble, particularly when the girl becomes a hit with the Lieutenant. The show features many wonderful songs including Deadwood Stage, Windy City and My Secret Love. This amateur production presented by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Ltd. Tickets ONLY available from 0208 8684096 www.klosmusicaltheatre.co.uk
