Celebrating and supporting arts in the community.
Interested in the arts? Hillingdon Council runs a full arts development programme, with all sorts of projects, events and opportunities for those who are looking to get involved or are already active within the local arts community.
Projects include community talent events such as Hillingdon’s Hidden Talent, live music nights, competitions and special workshops, a regular programme of Artist Networking Evenings plus support and expert advice from arts officers for those running arts groups and projects locally.
We also run a year round arts grants programme, with funding available for local voluntary or professional arts groups and individuals who wish to run art based projects in Hillingdon. The scheme is open to all creative disciplines including theatre, visual arts, music, circus, dance, sculpture, literature, poetry and film among others and we particularly look for projects which will benefit the local community. If you have a great idea for a project, then we want to hear from you!
3 rounds of funding are issued throughout the year. The deadlines for each round are as follows:
Last working day of March
Last working day of July
Last working day of November
If you would like to apply for funding, we suggest you read the relevant criteria and our Arts Grants for Hillingdon FAQ, which will give you detailed information about what we will find, what we will not fund and how the grants scheme runs.
