Become a Volunteer

COMPASS ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR:

• Box Office - We are looking to train a new volunteer to cover on Wednesdays or Thursdays 10.30am to 1.30pm
• Publicity - Let us know if you can help by getting some brochures and / or posters to more places around the borough.

People volunteer at Compass Theatre because it’s a fun, friendly and social place to be, where they can learn a variety of new skills in a creative environment.  Volunteers offer their time to the Arts Service for a wide range of different reasons. Some are between jobs and like to keep themselves busy, adding new experiences to their CVs, others work  and offer some spare time in the evenings and weekends in order to get involved in the arts and meet people. Whatever the reason, we want to make sure that volunteering with the Arts Service is enjoyable, rewarding and fulfilling. We rely on volunteers in the Wardrobe, Coffee Bar, Wine Bar, Box Office, Front of House, Technical, Publicity, with Compass Kidz sessions and Gardening. See the top of this page to find out what area we're currently recruiting for.

It's not possible to offer everyone the chance to dive straight in to their preferred role. Once you've contacted us to offer your time, our volunteer co-ordinator will contact you. If you want more information than given here, please submit the on-line form here.

Manor Farm Site, Ruislip

CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR:

• Help in the Manor Farm House to welcome visitors and to train to provide guided tours. There are also opportunities to help with the site's Education and Enrichment Programme which provides seasonal workshops and events at Manor Farm in Ruislip.
