• Have you ever wanted to know how the magic of theatre happens?
• Do you want to be involved with productions, but behind the lights rather than in front?
• Are you able to help out at weekends and evenings?

If you are interested in lighting, sound, props, scenery, or being a member of stage crew, then you could volunteer at Compass.

You will form part of a strong team of volunteers that help staff in all areas of the theatre; from box office to coffee and wine bars to ushering.

We need technical assistance every day of the week, from long Sunday or Monday get-ins to late get-outs after a Saturday night show.

You will work alongside Compass staff who will help and advise you according to your level of experience.

We can also put you in touch with the visiting companies, who may be looking for additional hands on the technical side.

The Compass Theatre is also part of a wider Arts Service in Hillingdon. If you wish to get involved with other arts events, then there are opportunities at Hayes Carnival, the Medieval Festival (in Ruislip) or BigFest (in Uxbridge) too.
