Wardrobe

The Wardrobe Department opens on Wednesday evenings from 8-10pm during school term-time. At present there are no opportunities outside of this time. We don’t expect people to commit to every Wednesday, most come along every 2 to 3 weeks.

Wardrobe volunteers arrive at 7.45pm and, led by one of the Wardrobe Duty Manager’s, help to set up ready to open. We have over 2,500 costumes, so there’s a lot to do.

There is a wide variety of tasks our volunteers provide in the wardrobe. You might help a local school or theatre group choose, measure and fit costumes for their next production or help a couple with ideas for a forthcoming fancy dress party.

You don’t need to sew, but it’s helpful if you can and there is some paperwork and cash handling involved. You will also need to be good with people and have a warm, friendly manner.
